The Fourth of July has been my favorite holiday since I married Ri five years ago. We always have such a great time. This year was especially fun! We stayed at his parents home in Sanpete County and went 4-wheeling and fishing, did sparklers, ate WAY too much deliciousness, and snuck away for 24 hours without kids.
Abs and Kayden with our catch. Kayden was so much fun! He caught three of the seven and couldn't have been more proud.
We watched this rock chuck for a good hour or more. It must have gotten caught in the downstream flow. We thought it was a baby beaver for awhile, but when it finally jumped out of the water and then thawed out, the tail proved the creatures identity.
And a bonus? Abby is POTTY-TRAINED! It took two days with zero accidents (so far). We are now six days in and happy as can be! Don't you love this photo? This was her prize from Granda Shelley for her accomplishment.

Wow I wish my kids would train that fast. We always drag it out for months and months. Way to go Abs!
