Riley's grandparents and aunt Deb came to visit us in February, all the way from Utah. It took them two days to get here and two days to get home. We really enjoyed having them...too bad they couldn't stay longer. Here are the kids and Grandma and Deb on our back porch.
Here is everyone at Gladys Porter Zoo. This is one of the best attractions in the area because it is unlike any other zoo. The enclosures are low and allow very easy access to see the animals. Also, the climate allows most of the animals to remain outside....that leads to a low stink factor. Very important.

That blanket has been around for over 30 years. It went through Riley, Mike, Bailey, Abby, Dallin, And I think Alaina gets to keep it! Actually it is in really good shape for all the love it has received.
Grandma Shelley is really missing this little family!

I am a sucker for sentimentality, so little kid's blankies are cute to me, but to have that kind of history makes it even more special. I am glad she loves that blanket.
