We have been busy trying to get ready for winter. Last Saturday, as part of our camping trip in Fairview, we planted pasture grass on our 5 1/2 acres. We are not good farmers yet, the only equipment we had to rake in the seed:
-a four wheeler
-one manual fertilizer/seed spreader, the lawn and garden variety
-one chain link, flexible fence
-one plastic bag
-50 lbs of seed
In other news, our dog is getting better. Just six more weeks until we can release her from her prison cage. She is healing up nicely and should be okay for all the spring walks we can take her on.
Riley is taking his scouts camping this weekend. Should be an adventure!
