Puppy Dog Eyes

The expression for sad puppy dog eyes never hit home until Belle was injured nearly two weeks ago. She makes eye contact, while trying to lick my face, or while holding very, very still and it almost takes my breath away. I will even admit to crying a few times while looking into those dark brown eyes. Riley is quite the vet. Belle holds very still and allows him to clean her wounds and disinfection. I'd say she 100% trusts him (I think I probably get only at 75% trust rating?)
